Contents
Per 5 mL Ammon Cl 135 mg, diphenhydramine HCl 12.5 mg
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult 10 mL 4-6 hrly. Max: 60 mL/24 hr. Childn 6-12 yr 5 mL 4-6 hrly. Max: 30 mL/24 hr.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Glaucoma, asthma, prostatic hypertrophy. MAOI therapy. Hepatic or renal impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Premature infants or neonates.
Special Precautions
Urinary retention, pyloroduodenal obstruction, epilepsy & severe CV disorder. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, thickening of mucous, blurred vision, confusion, difficult or painful urination, dizziness, dry mouth, nose or throat, fast heartbeat, increased skin sensitivity to sun, increased sweating, loss of appetite, paradoxical reactions, ringing or buzzing in ears, rash, stomach upset or pain, nausea, vomiting.
Drug Interactions
Alcohol, barbiturates, hypnotics, opioid analgesics, anxiolytic sedatives & neuroleptics, MAOIs, antimuscarinic drugs, aminoglycosides.
